NOAH KOH

Cello

Noah is a cellist and chamber musician born and raised in Queens, New York City. He has  completed a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree at the Juilliard School studying under Darrett Adkins and Natasha Brofsky, earning a performance diploma at the Manhattan School with Julia Lichten, and is continuing his education at the Stony Brook University with Colin Carr, earning a Doctorate in Musical Arts. Noah has attended many summer festivals over the years, such as Music Academy of the West, Yellow Barn Young Artists Program, and Kneisel Hall. Noah has also had the privilege to collaborate with distinguished members artists, such as Richard O Neil, Martin Beaver, and Jeremy Denk. As a member of Trio Sona, Noah attended the Fischoff Chamber music competition, and will attend a residency at Avaloch Farm in the winter. Noah actively freelances in Manhattan,  performing alongside ensembles such as New England Ensemble, Roosevelt Island Orchestra, and Seven Hills Chamber Music, while finding unique opportunities, such as recording for the movie soundtrack Gemini Man.
