Ling is a flutist and educator currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at New York University. She holds a Master’s degree from the Mannes School of Music and a Bachelor’s degree from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

An active chamber musician, Ling performs repertoire spanning classical works to contemporary and cross-stylistic compositions, collaborating with ensembles dedicated to both traditional and modern performance practices. She has worked closely with composers and fellow performers on new works, bringing a wide stylistic versatility to her chamber playing.

Throughout her academic journey, she has performed extensively with orchestras and chamber groups, collaborated with film scoring students at Berklee, and participated in masterclasses with renowned flutists including Karl-Heinz Schützand Luc Mangholz. Her performance credits include appearances at Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall, and Boston Symphony Hall.
